Bruce has been helping the Melansons move into to a new apartment. It was going well until Bruce lightly tapped an innocent bystander’s truck. Whoops! All the heavy lifting aggravated Bruce's old football injuries, forcing him to take a little R&R and a muscle relaxer.
Jean made chicken taco stew this weekend! Her version included rice and tortilla chips. The Belangers also ate a surprisingly good dish of chicken divan, given to Jean as payment for helping a neighbor with her trash. Reminds me of the Wedding Singer, who got paid for singing lessons in meatballs! Jean also provided snacks to hungry friends of Joclyn, including chicken nuggets with dipping sauce, chips and salsa and bagel bites. Whadda Mom!
Gail recommends the frozen manicotti from Costco and Bruce recommends Essex Seafood.
Bruce had a meeting with the mayor yesterday, who instructed everyone to submit level-funded budgets.
Skev paid a visit this morning, regaling us with stories of good times at Molly Forman's place this weekend including catching a televised tennis match at 3:30am. Wild!
